MR. WALTON = MR. NEGATIVE

Once again, Councilman Walton has displayed a knee-jerk reaction against ANY proposal(s) supported by either Mayor Peel, City Manager Olson, Councilman Stimatz or Councilwoman Baker. If they say "yes", Mr. Walton will come up with a convoluted reason to say "no". I am amazed the Editors of TDA express surprise at his latest negative rant. Mr. Walton has never articulated his own positive proposals, or presented legitimate motions for Council to consider. Never. The answer? Maintain two year terms for Council, and hope that forward thinking citizens will continue to rally around the serious candidates in the 4th Ward. It is a slow process, but it is underway! In the meantime, the make-up of our new Council should allow progress despite Mr. Negative's objections. Bill Hiemer
